Dua Lipa Condemns An Ad Accusing Gigi And Bella Hadid And Her Of Being 'Anti- Semitic And Supporting Palestine; Says ‘Utterly Reject The Appalling Allegations’
Some days ago, the Israel-Palestine conflict took the entire world by storm. Many celebs like Mark Ruffalo, Gigi Hadid, Gal Gadot and many more have taken to their respective social media handles to stand in solidarity with Palestinians after the tragic crisis. However, amidst the crisis in the Middle East, Dua Lipa came across an advertisement which was published in The New York Times that apparently accused pop singer Dua Lipa and Hadid sisters Gigi Hadid and Bella, of being 'Anti- Semetic' for supporting Palestine.

However, slamming the ad, Dua Lipa stated that the allegations are utterly false and appalling while also mentioning that she ‘rejects all forms of racism’. She took to her Twitter handle to share her statement on the same. She began, “I utterly reject the false and appalling allegations that were published today in the New York Times advertisement taken out by the World Values Network.” Dua further continued, “This is the price you pay for defending Palestinian human rights against an Israeli government whose actions in Palestine both Human Rights Watch and the Israeli human rights group B'Tselem accuse of persecution and discrimination.”

She concluded the post by adding, "I take this stance because I believe that everyone - Jews, Muslims and Christians - have the right to live in peace as equal citizens of a state they choose. The World Values Network are shamelessly using my name to advance their ugly campaign with falsehoods and blatant misrepresentations of who I am and what I stand for. I stand in solidarity with all oppressed people and reject all forms of racism.”
